January Retrofits Working Group

This month, we heard from climate leaders on the new Massachusetts Climate Law. Our speakers addressed bill sections on:

• Alternatives to gas service in households and in new service territories
• Ratepayer protection for moderate-income customers
• Up-to-date heat pump refrigerant allowances.

We also discussed bill sections that address the establishment of a solar canopy working group and installations of solar systems within historic districts.
